We have been invited back to the St James’ Court Hotel (formerly known as the Crowne Plaza Hotel) in Buckingham Gate SW1 for a spit-roasted lamb luncheon in the Courtyard of the hotel.

Once again we are invited to take lunch aboard the "Lotus" floating Chinese restaurant in Docklands. We will be able to accommodate up to forty people; and so early booking is recommended. Old China hands pronounced the restaurant "right"; and one even discovered that he knew the owning family from Hong Kong days

Bar Remo is a family-run, Italian restaurant and cafe in Princes Street W1 between Hanover Square and Oxford Circus. THe menus bear family photographs of several generations.

We have been invited to a pre-opening event at the new training restaurant run by our sponsored UK charity "The Clink".

We are invited to Chad Rahman’s award-winning restaurant in St Albans for lunch. Chad recently won the award as the Best Spice Restaurant in the South-East at the recent "Curry Oscars". His cooking is a fusion of British, French and Hindi styles, and he offers us an excitingly-different (but not too "hot") menu, which the first sixteen to book will be able to experience

As usual, we try to put on something a little special for our last event of the year, and, once again, it is a Sunday lunch which is proposed, at a venue which you all know and love. Our hosts have very kindly held the price to that obtaining at our last visit (£125) and so we will be asking that price, with a £10 supplement for guests.

We are travelling to our loyal member Julie Cowpland, at Powder Mills Hotel, Battle in Sussex, for a Sunday luncheon in the beautiful setting of her hotel The AGM will precede this luncheon - and those who brave the meeting will be well-rewarded in the restaurant. Continuing with what is becoming a tour of the London Clubs, as part of "hidden" London, we are delighted to announce that we will be dining at the RAC Club in Pall Mall, as guests of our newest quartet of professional members, the Director of the Club, the General Manager of the Epsom Clubhouse, the Food and Beverage Manager and, of course, the Chef, who have put together an excellent menu for us.

We dine in black tie, with regalia as appropriate, at 7pm for 7:30pm. Tickets will be £65 for members and their respective nominated usual guests, and £70 for further guests.

The Bailiage’s luncheon for the festive season will be held at Brown’s Hotel, on Sunday, 11th December at 12:30pm for 1pm
