The London Bailliage is the oldest bailliage in Britain, founded in 1959.
We comprise a cosmopolitan group of enthusiastic amateur gastronomes and working professionals who celebrate and provide “good food, good wine and camaraderie around the table”!
London is one of the world’s greatest culinary cities and we count ourselves very fortunate to be able to take advantage of so wide a range of cuisines and venues. We meet five or six times a year for lunch or dinner, some black tie and others more casual.
Chaîne membership gives access to events organised by Bailliages throughout the world. We take pleasure in welcoming visiting members from abroad, travelling alone or as part of an organised Chaine tour.
Non-members are also most welcome to come to one of our events as a paying guest and experience the friendly atmosphere in which we enjoy the wonderful food, wine and service which our professional members offer to us.
