Welcome to BRIDE VALLEY where the English countryside sparkles. Bride Valley is the culmination of Steven Spurrier’s 50 years in the wine trade. It is a chance to share the joy and pleasure that wine has brought to his life.

Sited on fine southeast, south and south west facing slopes, with the same chalky soil as found in the Paris basin in which Champagne sits, Bride valley enjoys perfect conditions for sparkling wines. A low dosage and simple, non-interventionist approach to our wine making means that the character of the grapes and the terroir stay alive in your glass.

FINE ENGLISH WINE SINCE 1988 Danebury Vineyards is a privately owned estate located near Stockbridge, in the heart of Hampshire, on the paddocks of what was a famous nineteenth-century racehorse training yard. The vineyards cover seven acres (2.8ha) of sheltered, south-facing fields on chalk and flint-stone soil. Our first vines were planted in 1988 and today we produce our flagship vintage brut sparkling wine ‘Cossack’, made from Auxerrois Blanc and Pinot Gris grapes; two varietal still white wines Madeleine Angevine and Schönburger; and the Danebury Reserve, a blend of all our grape varieties. The family has chosen to focus on limited production, following organic principles, which is reflected in the quality of the wine. Although on the fringes of the wine producing regions of the world, England’s long summer days allow for maximum ripening of our cool climate grapes, ensuring strong fruit flavours and the chalk and flint soil, characteristic of our region, lends the wine its minerality. The grapes all come from our single vineyard and our experienced viticulture, winemaking skills and state of the art cellar is reflected in Danebury’s exceptional fine English wines which are consistent award winners poured in top establishments in London and Hampshire

Powder Monkey Brewing was founded in 2019. An Historic Naval Gunpowder Store in Priddy’s Hard, Gosport, it had remained empty and partially derelict for over fifty years. Despite its shocking state, the vision was born, and the work began on planning the brewery and developing the brand. The name Powder Monkey relates to the boys who carried the gunpowder to the guns on board ships.

Powder Monkey produce a range of beers for the general public plus specialists beers for individual clients, amongst the first was naturally the Royal Navy.

Our beautiful brewery building was originally a Naval Gunpowder Store and dates back to 1878, the building still hosts an array of original features steeped in history. The exposed beams, wood floors, high ceilings and intimate bar make for a fantastic venue for weddings, birthday celebrations, corporate meetings and more….
