The price of the luncheon will be £60 for members and £65 for guests
We have in mind travel (for those who prefer it) by group ticket by train from Waterloo East. If others wish to join the train further down the line, a list of stops will be made available. The hotel is but a short walk from Battle station. The cost of a day return ticket will be in the region of £25, but we may be able to refine this, dependent on numbers.
AND THAT IS NOT ALL!!
For those who cannot tear themselves away, tours of Battle Abbey are available at £6.20 - but the Hotel has most kindly offered us a preferential overnight rate or bed and breakfast of £90 for bed and breakfast, for two persons sharing a room, or £120 if a suite is requested.
It follows that early bookings will be most desirable in the interest of organisation of the event.
