Members of the Chaîne des Rôtisseurs are warmly invited to an exclusive evening of La Chaîne camaraderie, fine dining, elegance and Sabrage at The Athenaeum Club 107 Pall Mall London SW1Y 5ER on Thursday, 7th August 2025.

The Athenaeum is a private members’ club in London, founded in 1824 .The Clubhouse was designed by Club member Decimus Burton in 1830 in the Neoclassical style. A gilded statue of Athena, Goddess of Wisdom, looks out from a front balcony as the Club’s tutelary spirit and guide.

The magnificent premises have been carefully maintained and some of the original mahogany furniture designed by Burton is still in use today. It will form a perfect venue for our exquisite and stylish event.
During the evening members will have the opportunity to try sabrage, a ceremonial technique for opening Champagne, by striking it with a sword.
