66th Grand Chapitre, London
24th to 27th September 2026
GB’s 66th Grand Chapitre will, by popular demand, take place in London the nation’s capital.
The programme starts on Thursday, first with lunch in a prison – a unique experience in the Clink restaurant in Brixton prison – then, that evening, an exciting wine dinner in the Crypt of St. Etheldreda’s in Chancery
Friday trips will include one on the River Thames to visit Tower Bridge and walk across the top with its glass floor, followed by lunch at the Dickens Inn in St Katherine Dock.
Another will be a tour of Buckingham Palace, recently open to the public, there to see amongst others, the Throne Room and the State Dining Room, also to see many superb paintings collected over hundreds of years.

"We look forward to giving you all the warmest of welcomes, together with your guests, to a long weekend of cultural interest, culinary and vinous excellence and, most of all, great camaraderie."
The Friday evening welcome dinner will be at the fabulous Fishmongers Hall. The Fishmongers’ Company is one of the oldest and most ancient Livery Companies of the City of London – one of the ‘Great Twelve,’ for 700 years it has stood on the banks of the River Thames playing a leading role in upholding the standards in the trading of fish and shellfish.
On Saturday, the morning options are the Induction Ceremony at St Clement Danes Church or a canal boat trip along the Regents canal to Camden Market. That afternoon we have two great options: a Cognac Masterclass lead by Julien Frison in the Cumberland Hotel; or a guided tour of the Wallace Collection followed by a Champagne afternoon tea.
Our Gala Dinner in the wonderful Intercontinental Hotel Ballroom will, as usual, include a raffle to raise funds for our chosen charity The Clink, for the encouragement and help to the less fortunate in life, particularly in the hospitality industry.

The event closes with something again at a great height – lunch at Harvey Nichols restaurant at the top of the OXO Tower on the South Bank overlooking the River Thames and a view of the City of London.
In the Chaîne tradition the teams in all these venues have planned great menus reflecting both location and time of year and you are ensured to leave saying ‘wow’. We look forward to giving you all the warmest of welcomes, and great camaraderie. This event is above all a meeting of friends to share experiences together.
