Michael an IT Specialist,joined the Chaine in January 2010 and was appointed Vice Chancelier Argentier in October that year. Michael and his partner Nina are very keen members and have already attended Grand Chapitres in Turkey and America.

Vice Conseiller Gastronomique
Philip has been a Chaîne member since 2001 and was made VCG in 2004. His interest in food started on his 21st birthday which was celebrated at the Savoy Grill and afterwards in Paris. Since then he prefers “French style” cuisine although keen to try national food from other countries. He and his wife have attended Chaîne events in several other countries including Scandinavia and Canada, and particularly enjoy his involvement with the Commis Rôtisseur competitions.

John Blain
Vice Chargé de Presse
John joined the Chaîne in 2001 and was appointed Vice-Chargé de Missions in September 2007. Dorset born and bred, John now lives in the Somerset village of Abbots Leigh. He enjoys cycling, sailing and skiing, which all help to temper his penchant for good wining and dining. He has been retired since 1999 after some thirty seven years with Rolls-Royce Aerospace.
