Grand Chapitre, 5-7 October 2012 – Bristol

Bristol, our venue for the 2012 Grand Chapitre, has a long association with the wine trade in Bordeaux, Spain and Portugal. Highlights of our 53rd Grand Chapitre will include dinner in the first class lounge of the SS Great Britain, trips to the Roman/Georgian city of Bath, a boat trip through the harbour and down the Avon River under Brunel’s other masterpiece in the city, the Clifton suspension bridge. The induction, followed by Gala Dinner, will be in the Marriott Royal Hotel on College Green in the centre of the city. Sunday lunch will be an informal affair at the appropriately named Bordeaux Quay.
