Chez Mumtaj passionately projects itself in showcasing a unique style of haute cuisine in Modern French-Asian dining. The Main restaurant offers elegant and intimate dining. The interior is soothing, luxurious and opulent with meticulous attention given to detail with it’s subtle beige leather banquette wrap-around seating and open kitchen where you can watch the culinary team at work whilst savouring their efforts to delight your taste buds.
Chez Mumtaj is the latest venture from the team behind the hugely successful Mumtaj Tandoori, one of St. Albans most popular and highly acclaimed Indian Restaurant receiving accolades at National and International level.
Owner & Executive Chef Chad Rahman is the man who beat over 4,000 entrants to be crowned International Indian Chef of the Year back in 2003, he has extensive international experience working around the world for multiple major luxury hotel groups developing his understanding of French, Indian, Malaysian, Thai and Mexican cuisine Chad Rahman’s profile.
