Coronavirus (COVID-19)

With the escalation of the COVID-19 global health issue we are conscious of protecting the well-being of our members, their guests, family, work colleagues and employees in the hospitality industry, and also of adhering to government directives. Sadly therefore all events arranged throughout Britain by the Bailliage of Grand Bretagne have been cancelled until further notice. Events, including postponed ones, will recommence at the earliest possible time that the situation allows.

An update on Summer Events

July – We have been in communication with Albury’s and are hoping to keep our dinner in the vineyard in July, and as there will be all-weather seating in the middle of the vineyard, we are hoping that distancing will have been reduced too, and we can enjoy ourselves with camaraderie as we have in the past. The date is still set for Saturday 25 July, so we will keep you posted. August – Chef Mohssine at Kingham’s has been chatting to me and we are hoping to reinstate our lunch, which should have been held this month, in August. We have not set a date yet, but are discussing ways in which we can all enjoy a sociable event – and Mohssine’s really delicious cuisine. We will let you know as soon as we have arrangements in place.

Stay well & fingers crossed that we will see you very soon.
