Forty lucky members will be setting off to Sicily for another wonderful Wessex trip. The itinerary includes: First stop in the medieval city of Taormina A boat trip to explore the Blue Grotto Visits to vineyards on the slopes of Mount Etna, and to Menfi, Marsala and Regaleati. Medieval villages The Baroque City of Syracuse to see the famous Caravaggio in the Church of Santa Lucia alla Baddia A visit to the Valley of Temples near Agrigento A stay at the fishing port of Mazara del Vallo A stop at the capital city of Palermo at Segesto to see the Greek Temple and stunning amphitheatre.
All this, and more, including visits to many great restaurants (of course), including the Michelin-starred restaurant, La Capinera - Sicily’s only Chaine restaurant. Wonderful food, wine and Chaine camaraderie. Vive la Chaine!
