Kinghams, Shere, Luncheon

Summertime, and this spells a visit into the English countryside to the beautiful village of Shere. However, enroute to Kinghams we are to visit Silent Pool for a gin tasting for the gin slingers, and Albury’s wine for the non-slingers. Added to that is sampling blue cheese snacks/canapés designed by Paul Baker, Chef Patron of Kinghams, the blue cheese originating from the factory which is setting up alongside Silent Pool and Albury’s and which will be in production before we visit them. We then have the option of walking down to Shere to lunch, or driving. Paul, for those of you who do not know him, is the most genial of hosts and I know we will have yet another delicious lunch with him, along with excellent wines.
