Saturday lunch at L’Ortolan, Reading

September 8, 2018

12.30 for 1pm

After last year’s great summer L’Ortolan event this year we move to the early fall. Again it promises to be another great lunch and afternoon for the Chilterns Bailliage. The elegant listed building that houses L’Ortolan has been home to a handful of world class Michelin starred chefs since it evolved from rectory to restaurant some 38 years ago. The rich culinary history is still entwined with the L’Ortolan experience as traditional values and classic flavour combinations mix with contemporary menus and a relaxed, friendly vibe.

Step through the gothic front door and immerse yourself in the warm welcome and luxurious gastronomic indulgence that we hope will leave a long and lasting memory with you for years to come.

MENU

Chef’s selection of canapés on arrival Papet del Mas Brut Cava, Spain - Beautiful Cava known for their well-integrated autolytic characteristics of toast, cream and secondary nut (almond) flavours.
