Dinner at The Town House, Arundel

April 26, 2017

We are delighted to issue this invitation as we have long wanted to arrange a meal at this chef/patron establishment which has gained a grand reputation. Husband and wife team Lee and Katie Williams have devised a special menu, and we shall have exclusivity of the restaurant. There are some bedrooms above, subject to availability, although plenty of accommodation is also within walking distance. Numbers are limited so early booking is advised. The Town House is a grade 2 listed building built around the 1800s and is next door to the walls of Arundel Castle. However, the ceiling in the dining room is much older. Originally constructed and installed in Florence, Italy in the late 16th century, it is a beautiful example of late renaissance architecture. The panels and designs are actually carved from walnut and then gilded to give the special appearance typical of the period.
