At the last AGM, the membership asked the Council to take the bailliage back to François Jobard, whose food they had so much enjoyed at "Le St. Julien". François has moved on and is now chef at "Mon Plaisir" - but we found him, and a dinner has been arranged for 24th June.
I have not only been through the menu with François, but he has drawn the presentation for me. last time, we were stunned, not only by the food itself, but also by the presentation (remember those "Horns of Plenty" with the vegetables spilling over on to the plate? Well, this time, I am going to let the menu and the wines be a complete surprise: we will leave everything to François!
Price £75 for members and their designated guests: £80 for additional guests.
Dress: Lounge suit with insignia as appropriate
Places are strictly limited to twenty-five; and so there is very likely to be a waiting list.
