As many of you know we have held several lunches and dinners with Nick over the years which have always been a remarkable success, so we wanted to put his latest venue The Pot Kiln on for World Chaine day in 2025. We have done that.

World Chaine is important event in our Calendar, so we look forward to a great attendance. The theme this year is creative and innovative cuisine. We certainly have that! Please book ASAP so that you do not miss this momentous event.

Directions:

The Pot Kiln is easily accessible from either Junction 12 or 13 of the M4. So ideal from Reading, Newbury London, The Cotwolds and the West country. The pub has its own car park on site at RG18 0XX.

By road:

Follow Sat Nav to RG18 0XX

By rail:

There are regular services to Reading or Newbury from London Paddington, Bristol, and Birmingham, as well as other major railway stations across the UK. The nearest stations are Pangbourne and Thatcham. Please see www.nationalrail.co.uk for further details.

By taxi:

We will run taxis from Caversham/Reading as normal. Once numbers are known we will put that together. Otherwise, there are several Taxi ranks at Reading Station, on the town side and one on Caversham side. Any will do.

Private Hire via 500 cars is available at £40 each way from Reading. There is also a taxi rank at Newbury Station for those coming that way.

For Thatcham and Pangbourne call ahead for a taxi/private hire car.

Accommodation:

There are rooms available at the Pot Kiln. Please contact them directly at info@thepotkiln.com.

They have a limited number of rooms left to sell for those wishing to stay over, and they have rooms at the Royal Oak which is very nearby too if an overspill is needed.

Rooms are £145 (2 standard) and £165 (4 superior) inc breakfast.
