Lunch at Le Talbooth

Le Talbooth nestles alongside the river Stour in the heart of Constable Country. The setting is idyllic and the food matches. Officier Maître Restaurateur Ian Rhodes and Chefs Jamie Jackson and Andy Hirst have put together a special summer lunch menu based on locally sourced ingredients. Ian is letting us bring our own wines and I am taking the opportunity to showcase wines from the grower and winemaker Tunella in the Friuli area of Northern Italy.

We meet at 12.30 for our Vin d’Honneur, which we will have on the terrace overlooking the river before moving inside to the restaurant for lunch at 1pm. Ian will be setting apart a large section of the restaurant for our exclusive use.
