We look forward to a great World Chaine Day lunch at the Six Bells a new venue to the Chaine. It is a couple of years since the Six Bells was bought by Luke and Becky Woods, after refurbishment they reopened again in April 2021. It is already running excellent fine dining supper club evenings which is how we came across it through recommendation. Seating capacity is thirty, so please book as soon as possible.

Our Chef & owner Luke Woods leads the kitchen Luke prides himself on using fresh local produce to create a range of interesting, tasty, seasonal dishes as well as pub classics. The menu changes regularly depending on the availability of seasonal produce. All produce is sourced locally, using well known suppliers such as Vicars game and Fisher of Newbury, with the intention of broadening our local suppliers in the future. We are interested in creating a sustainable menu, with many vegetarian and vegan options.

We have a private room for our exclusive use. There is a full bar available.

Directions:

The Six Bells is situated in the quaint village of Beenham, nestled in the outstanding natural countryside of West Berkshire. Take a walk or cycle through the village, or adventure out into the picturesque woodland. Located just off the A4, in between popular towns of Newbury and Reading.

Car:

Go to Junction 12 of the M4 at Reading and take the A4 west towards Newbury after 4 miles turn right and go to Beenham. Follow Sat Nav to RG7 5NX.

Train: There are regular services to Reading from London Paddington, Bristol and Birmingham, as well as other major railway stations across the UK. Please see www.nationalrail.co.uk for further details. There are two Taxi ranks at Reading station one on town side, one on Caversham side either will do and it is c£30 journey. Reading is 10 miles from Beenham.
