‘36 On the Quay’ is a Michelin recognised fine dining restaurant of the highest order situated on the water’s edge in Emsworth. It is an independent, family restaurant run by Gary and Martyna Pearce. Gary originally joined ‘36’ as a 17-year-old where he learned his cooking skills and built his knowledge, working alongside owner/chef Ramon Farthing.
These skills were finely tuned at Cheltenham’s 2 Michelin star Le Champignon Sauvage - where he and Martyna met - Noma, Aqua in Germany, Old Sluis in Netherlands, Oaxen Krog in Sweden and finally at Belgium’s 1 Michelin star De Wulf.
In 2013 they returned to ‘36 On The Quay’, Gary as a head chef and Martyna as front of house manager; ultimately buying the restaurant in May 2019. Today, together with their outstanding brigade and team, they strive to implement their knowledge and experience to deliver informal yet elevated fine dining.

Costings
Dinner with matched wine flight: £90; guests £100.
Two wines option (arrival fizz plus one glass of wine with dinner): £75; guests £85.
