We look forward to another great event with the Phyllis Court Club in beautiful Henley and it promises to be a lovely festive dinner. The team in this great private club have certainly put on a superb menu for us. Relax in stylish and comfortable surroundings and enjoy Executive René Mattner exquisite, contemporary cuisine, exceptional service, and a warm welcome.

As many of you know we have several common Chilterns and Phyllis Court members, and we like to thank Paul Lee from Chilterns for all his help in the getting the event on.

Established in 1906, Phyllis Court is a private members club with hotel rooms on the River Thames in Henley. Phyllis Court has excellent facilities, superb cuisines and wines, relaxing riverside accommodation and friendly staff. It is the perfect setting to meet friends or colleagues, enjoy a wedding or a celebration and watch the recent Henley Regatta. This elegant historic mansion is set in 18 acres of land with lawns sweeping down to the river - a Grade II listed building - overlooks the world-famous Henley Regatta course, is a unique wedding venue, and offers the very best in Regatta corporate hospitality with private boxes on the finish line. For members, the club is a ‘home away from home’ with beautiful grounds and gardens and a vibrant calendar of events. It is the perfect place to meet new people and try out new activities, or just relax with a book by the river.

The dinner is in the Regatta Pavilion.

Club Accommodation:

The Phyllis Court Club has a limited number of rooms available for those who want to stay. These are at Member Rates starting at £130 B&B for Queen Room. A King Room at £140 B&B and a Deluxe room at £240. These will be available for booking until Monday October 31st for Booking. Please call the Club on 01491 570500 to book quoting the Chaîne event. The club has its own car park. From London and the East Take the M4 and exit at Junction 8/9 and then A404M to Henley. From the Southwest and West Take the M4, then exit at Junction 8/9. Take A404M and follow sign to Henley From Midlands and North. Take the M40, to the A404M and then Follow signs to Henley. Sat Nav: RG9 2HT

Train:

There are regular services to Henley via Twyford from London Paddington and Reading. Other major railway stations across the UK connect via Reading Paddington. Please see www.nationalrail.co.uk for further details. The club is a short walk from Henley Station and there is taxi rank there for those who wish to use it.
