Rufflets Country House Hotel

Inspired by Nature

Seasons is located within the main house at Rufflets, overlooking our award-winning gardens. Head chef David Kinnes draws inspiration from the seasons to create regularly changing menus, imaginatively combining home-grown and fresh market produce, cooked simply to enhance the natural flavour. Our evolving kitchen garden provides fresh vegetables, herbs and fruits throughout the year. Other ingredients are sourced from the rich larder of Scottish produce available in the Kingdom of Fife and beyond. With a sunny, south aspect, the new restaurant interior connects naturally with the outdoors. The colour palate is influenced by the gardens where natural fabrics and textures, combined with leafy wall art and mirrors have been used to great effect on soft furnishings and comfortable booth seating. The bay window is the focal point of the room which cleverly showcases the gardens and delivers an unforgettable dining experience. Take a stroll through our extensive gardens where our home grown produce starts its remarkable journey, or simply sit back and enjoy the view.

Cooking is light, in the modern Scottish style, with emphasis on enhancing the natural flavours of the ingredients and on presentation. To complement our menus a range of approx 100 wines from around the world, including a half bottle selection is stocked.
