The Miller of Mansfield

The Miller of Mansfield is an 18th century Coaching Inn with luxury bedrooms owned and operated by Mary and Nick Galer. It is nestled away in the heart of the idyllic village of Goring on Thames and overlooks rolling West Berkshire and South Oxfordshire countryside, a stones throw from the river Thames. The Miller is open 7 days a week for eating, drinking and sleeping.

Nick and Mary have an extensive culinary and hospitality background and bring this knowledge to the Miller to create a very special and cosy atmosphere. The kitchen is at the heart of everything good about the Miller and Nick oversees the delivery of fine British ingredients and produce. The Miller atmosphere created by Mary and her team is always at the forefront of their service ethos Nick and Mary oversee the team to ensure hospitable service is delivered to every customer.

Both Nick and Mary worked in Bray for The Fat Duck Group, Nick was Head Chef at The Crown at Bray whilst Mary was a core member of the management team at The Hinds Head.

The Miller of Mansfield has been awarded the 2015 Good Food Guide Readers Restaurant of the Year Award.
