For over 350 years, the elite have entertained at Cliveden. Join the likes of Chaplin, Churchill, Lennon and Lawrence. We at the Chilterns Bailliage will be hosting our lunch in the famous French Dining Room made famous by Churchill and President Roosevelt.

Lunch numbers, format and the table plan are all subject to Covid 19 regulations at the time so are subject to change. We plan if possible and subject to the Covid regulations to have a Butlers talk about the history of Cliveden for about 15 minutes during coffee.

This is a Saturday lunch and you may wish to walk the spectacular grounds before or after so feel free to do so. The bar will be open after for those wishing to stay on in this great location.

Car:

Cliveden House has excellent onsite parking. When you arrive at the gate tell the National trust gatekeeper you are having lunch at the house and you will not be charged to enter.

From the South or from Reading: It is 40 min drive (c21miles) Via the A3290 and M4. Or you can use A4, A4155 and/or A4130 smaller roads to Cliveden. From the North: Exit the M40 at the A404 Junction and head down the A404 to the A4155. Follow A4155 through Henley to Cliveden.
