Jesus College was founded in 1496, and in fact we, La Chaîne, held a Chapître dinner there during its 500th anniversary celebrations! Initially the College consisted of buildings taken over from a nunnery, a cloister and a former lodging of the prioress. This set of buildings remains the core of the College to this day, and it accounts for its distinctly peaceful and spacious character. It has beautiful buildings with very beautiful gardens and extensive grounds.
