Solent AGM and Luncheon at The Millstream Hotel, Bosham

This year our Annual General Meeting and Spring Luncheon will be held at the Millstream Hotel, Bosham. Ideally located in the historic and picturesque sailing village of Bosham the Millstream is a quintessentially English country Hotel dating from 1701. It holds the “Gold Award” for outstanding levels of customer service and the restaurant has been awarded two Rosettes by the AA. The Hotel has been owned by the Wild family for over 31 years and is noted for their long serving staff including their dedicated General Manager Antony Wallace and Restaurant Manager Aris Tzonis.

The luncheon menu was prepared especially for us by their Head Chef James Fairchild-Dickson. James was trained in Hampshire, after starting at Selsdon Park Hotel, at 21 he became the youngest ever Sous Chef on the Cunard cruise liner Queen Elizabeth 2. As his career has advanced to Head Chef he has placed great emphasis on the quality, freshness and seasonal ingredients. His cuisine when re-launching The Old House Hotel in Wickham was awarded two Rosettes by the AA and his same high standards have secured the Millstream Restaurant two Rosettes for the second year.

The meeting will start at 11:30 sharp in the Millstreams stylishly appointed assembly room, followed by a cocktail reception, and 4 course lunch with wines. The cost for this event will be £45.00 per head. The dress for this occasion is smart casual with ribbons.

This is an opportunity for all members to put forward their ideas and hear what developments the new National Council are promoting in the future.

Take advantage of the weather after this delicious luncheon to stroll around Bosham and Chichester Harbour designated an “area of outstanding natural beauty”.
