Game Supper at The Three Horseshoes, Elsted

Wednesday, February 20, 2008

We are delighted to welcome you to an informal game supper at the Three Horseshoes in this pretty village at the foot of the South Downs.

This is one of those increasingly rare places - a proper village pub, with a cosy rustic atmosphere complete with stone flagged floors, large open fireplace and antique furnishings. Privately owned and run by Sue and Michael Newton for some 15 years, the emphasis is on creating a relaxed and informal centre of village life. The Three Horseshoes is well known for its food and in particular its venison – locally stalked and hung by the landlord. A perfect place to enjoy fresh Sussex game on a cold winter’s evening.

The chef, Achim Klein, began his apprenticeship with the Savoy Hotel Group in 1978 and has since worked for Hilton International in both London, Strasbourg, the Grosvenor House Hotel and as far afield as Le Sport Hotel in St. Lucia.

This event is from the Solent Bailliage, see more Solent Events.
